Duncan Wood-Allum has been invited back to speak at the Sport and Play Construction Association’s (SAPCA’s) annual conference on Monday 30 January, 2012 at Forest of Arden Hotel, Meriden, Warwickshire. After delivering a challenging insight into what the future would hold for suppliers to the Sports sector back in January 2011 at last year’s conference , Chris Trickey, Chief Executive of SAPCA was keen for him to provide a fresh insight twelve months on. The working title for the 45-minute session is “Business Outlook for the Next Five Years”. Duncan will provide an overview of the future sports and play facility marketplace, across the local authority, education and sports club sectors.

Commenting on his invitation Duncan said, “I hugely enjoyed the SAPCA event last year and seemed to hit the right notes with a very well informed conference audience. My message was not a particularly positive one given the economic situation and called for adaptability and collaboration from the sector.

Twelve months on,  we are a little clearer about what the future may hold and I’ll be looking forward to sharing my insights and engaging with SAPCA members.
